    Anonymous aggregate information relating to site usage to evaluate the performance of the website. This does not include any personally identifiable information.

How we store your personal data

We use appropriate technologies to safeguard your data, and have rigorous security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it.

What we do with the information we gather

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • To allow access to website members’ area for current singers with the choir.
  • To distribute information to current singers with the choir.
  • To add a potential new singer to one of our waiting lists.
  • To respond to enquires via our contact form and where appropriate use your enquiry, complaint or comment anonymously in staff training or to improve our services.

How long we keep your personal data

The personal details of all Inspiration singers will be kept securely while they continue to perform with Inspiration and for 12 months after they choose to leave the choir.

The personal details of all Inspiration singers registered with the website members’ area will be retained while they continue to log on. If their account is inactive for 12 months, their account will automatically be deleted.

Contact form submissions are kept for no longer than 12 months, after which they are deleted.

The details of anyone choosing to join one of our waiting lists will be kept until they are offered a place with the choir or until they ask to be removed from the list by emailing

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for any of the reasons listed above, you may change your mind at any time by emailing us at

Sharing data

We only share data with our three key partners – Opera North, Sage Gateshead and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra – and our current tour supplier, Kipling Tours, all of whom we have a third party agreement in place.
